Host Checker - Deep Clean Instructions

Note: These instructions should only be performed on a personal machine, not a bank-owned PC. For assistance with a bank-owned laptop, contact the dbSupportPlus Service Desk.

This page provides instructions on how to completely remove (or "Deep Clean") Host Checker. Sometimes Host Checker can break and require this level of removal if other methods of repair have not worked.

These instructions explain how to perform the Deep Clean process.

  1. Choose Start > Control Panel > Programs & Features and uninstall all components beginning with either Juniper or Pulse Secure.
  2. Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General > Settings (Browsing History) > View Objects, right-click any Juniper files and choose Delete.

  3. Go to C:\Program Files(x86) and C:\Program Files and delete the folder Juniper Networks.
  4. Go to C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming and delete the folder Juniper Networks.
  5. Reboot your PC.
